Introducing Superbloom
Robin’s latest collection, Superbloom, ships to stores this month! Superbloom is a sister collection to her popular Wild Blossoms collection and features a new ombre width-of-fabric print. This time, there is a light, delicate colorway of the print to contrast the deep jewel-toned version. Both the light and dark versions coordinate with poppies (a nod to Poppy Mae), a fun print of pitchers as vases, daisies, butterflies, a scribble stripe, posy party watercolor flowers, and eight Dotty Thatched colors.
Watch our Superbloom Trunk Show with Robin Pickens as she introduces the prints and quilts in this gorgeous collection! In addition to the fabric line, Robin introduces her brand-new cross stitch kits, thoughtfully curated to bring her floral artistry to the world of needlework. These all-inclusive kits come complete with fabric, Cosmo floss, and Aida cloth, ensuring you have everything needed to start stitching immediately. Ask for them at your favorite quilt shop! Whether you're a quilter or a cross-stitch enthusiast, this trunk show offers inspiration and insight into incorporating the beauty of Superbloom into your next project.
Superbloom Quilts and Kit
The quilt projects for this group show numerous ways to use the width-of-fabric prints.
A charm pack table runner, Centerpieced, makes small 3” blocks with the colorful floral borders on each side.
Gathering Wildflowers uses fat quarters or ¼-yard cuts to make sweet flower blocks that line up between the panels. The dark version is available as a Moda kit!
Fiona’s Daisy Chain is an Irish Chain quilt with a twist of the large squares using the wildflower print.
And Turn Signal uses a jelly roll with the panels to lead your eye between dark and light sides.
Quilting Meets Cross Stitch with Robin Pickens
In addition to designing amazing fabrics and quilt patterns, Robin started designing coordinating cross stitch patterns several years ago. Cross stitch has become a hot crossover trend in the quilting world, and Robin’s colorful, modern aesthetic translates beautifully into cross stitch projects that complement her signature style.
Looking for a way to introduce cross stitch to your quilting customers? Then you’ll definitely want to check out Robin’s patterns. With designs that echo her fabric collections, Robin’s cross stitch projects are easy to stitch and finish with fabric for a special touch.
Moda is thrilled to introduce a new series of cross stitch kits designed by Robin and featuring her popular Thatched fabrics. These are a great way to dive into cross stitch if it's a new hobby for you! Robin's cross-stitch kits offer a range of sizes and project options for beginners or experienced stitchers alike.
